Yes. I have an existing 26/01a pre-amp which has a separate HT (AZ1 + CLCLC) and LT supplies (18V raw).
AZ1 – what is it?
CLCLC – very low ripple, but from the beginning СL – poor form of current and many spectral harmonics. A better start LC, then we will always have a smooth sine wave power and is exempt from the spectral noise from the rectifier (diode). Try it, it’s easy to see in the oscilloscope.
