Brief comments about my small D3a collection.
Technologically, D3a is best made small signal tubes I’ve ever seen. Really perfect done.
Philips D3A-SQ, black coated anode with shiny edges and two getter suports. Best sounding D3a to my taste.
LM-Ericsson is quite different D3a. Complete internal structure is shifted to the center of the glass and with small tile down between pin wires. This tile provides better cooling for G2, I think. If you need more distinct highs from your speakers, go with this D3a.

Siemens and Halske D3a, black coated anode, one getter suport.
