After some further efforts, I managed to complete the power supply. And it works, which is always rewarding when you get it right first time:

A close lookup of the rectifier will show you two pairs of 600V SiC diodes which I had at hand, the snubber which was optimised using the Quasimodo test jig and other components of the supply:

Now I need to submit this supply to the mercy of extensive testing before I can proceed to the LT supply, The joy of DHT amplifiers!
