Hi I read with interest about your measuring audio transformers. I have made maybe the only one nanocrystalline torroids SE transformers and they measuring fantastic outside real condition but was disappointed when they went into the amp under real conditions. I have tested the Monolith and they also measured “poorly” in the real world. They clame that they go to over 100000 Hz but in reality they where down 1.5 db at 20000 Hz. Their low frequency response was limited, this was also a reality by their poor 23 Henry primary inductance. So their priority was high frequency not low frequency. My 300b transformers has 74 Henry and in reality 2 db down at 20000 Hz. In subjective listening test was the Monolith much thinner and loose in low end and higher up much less high frequency information. But best of all much more musical. Thanks for your work
Really enjoyed oure web site .
